As I celebrate another amazing year in the blogger sphere, I’d like to do what has become an end of year tradition – highlighting my top blog posts for the current year. As in the past, my picks are generally those that spend time on the top posts and pages section of principalaim. However, I also like to highlight posts that have been shared via social media. It’s also great to share my own personal favorites each year. This year’s list once again features topics that are near and dear to me – strategies to improve our ability to improve early childhood education, discussions about how to equip poor, minority students so that they can find social emotional and academic success, building confidence in young children, providing teacher development and support, the importance of Maker education, finding ways to incorporate movement during the school day, promoting equity and justice as well as fostering home and school partnerships. I’ve also included one additional blog post to help support teachers after the 2016 election.
Thank you all for your support! I hope you will continue to follow principalaim in 2017. tlb
