A Happy Place of Learning

“Kids who fall in love with life are sure to succeed” – Dr. Eric Knost

Dr. Eric Knost could not have said it better except I believe kids who fall in love with life [DO] succeed. Why? I believe this is true because kids who love life see life’s limitless possibilities. They see opportunities instead of obstacles. They also:

• take risks
• embrace challenges
• are lifelong learners

While some of these qualities are innate, kids often practice these skills every day inside the classroom. Therefore, it is important that we create classrooms where those skills can be honed so that happy students grow up to be successful adults. While there is no magic formula for success, I do believe one component of success is blissful happiness. tlb
