Building Grit

I ran across this photo on Twitter, and thought I’d share it because it encapsulates what we do each day in our work with children. Education is not about memorization and teaching to a test. Education is about helping students discover their inner grit and determination so that they can choose a path or better yet create their own. Check out a good resource from Edutopia about setting long-term goals as a way to foster grit in children. tlb
