Acts of Green: Earth Day 2015

What are your plans this year on Earth Day?  I’ve found one of the easiest ways to teach students about Earth Day is to get them involved in outdoor activities. This year, the folks at www.earthday.org have created a variety of activities to increase students’ “environmental awareness while also promoting sustainable projects to fight against climate change.” Schools do not have to wait to celebrate Earth Day next Wednesday, April 22. Instead, let’s all kick off the 45th Earth Day celebration with Climate Education Week, April 18-25. tlb
