Failure as Part of the Instructional Process

I don’t know about you but I love to explore the many ideas and perspectives available through the TED Talk series. Whatever the topic, I find these talks relevant and informative especially those dealing with education. Diana Laufenberg, 11th Grade American History teacher, gave a Mid-Atlantic Ted Talk in 2010 discussing the intersection between learning and failure. Her talk resonates with me because I believe “the best learning includes a measure of failure” because (like Diana) I believe “failure is a major part of the learning process.” tlb
