Summer Planning: Make a Weekly Plan That Works For You!

63/365: They're back

Throughout the summer, I have shared a number of tips/tools/resources for teachers to use during the school year. For many of us, August 1st is the date that signals the countdown to the start of the school year. With this in mind, I’d like to use my last post in my Summer Planning series to highlight 7 steps that will make it easier for you to plan your schedule for the academic week while juggling other responsibilities.

Let’s face it – the school year is busy and finding time to plan during the school day can be challenging. Edutopia blogger Maia Heych-Merlin does a great job highlighting an easy way to get organized so that you can keep up with appointments, build in flex time, as well as control those precious free moments that we all yearn for but rarely find once the school bell rings. If you are looking for good tips to help maximize your day, check out Ms. Heych-Merlin’s post here for more details.  tlb
