If you are a regular visitor to principalaim then you already know how important I believe it is to teach students to embrace failure (viewing mistakes as tools for success). While I realize my beliefs are shared by many educators, there continues to be a segment of parents who need help understanding how very important it is for children to build skills like: persistence, resilience, and (my favorite) good old fashion grit. During the winter of 2014, the folks at Edutopia created a list of resources (including a great resource from Mindset author, Carol Dweck) that may be helpful to school administrators and teachers searching for practical and effective ways to “rebrand” failure in school for parents. Check out the complete list of resources here. tlb
