Effective Parent Communication

Establishing and maintaining a healthy working relationship with parents is even more important and easy in the 21st century. Thanks to the advances in technology, it isn’t a question of if you communicate with parents but how you communicate. My best advice is to communicate early and often in order to ensure a good home/school connection.  Blogger Linda Kardamis suggests five super simple strategies that will help you better communicate with parents:

• Have as much positive communication as possible
• Send home more versus less
• Know when to pick up the phone
• Have customer service
• Be humble
