Growing in Chaos

Always a planner, it is amazing to meet people who can function in chaotic situations. And yet, as an educator, I find the best solutions to problems have come when things have been unplanned or messy. I am learning to let go of the need to plan everything (especially when it comes to finding the best solutions for my students). Because, at the end of the day, I believe we all “grow best in the mess.” So when your carefully planned staff meeting does not turn out exactly the way you planned, please take my advice and remember those lessons you learned while living through a mess. tlb
